Emanuel has been described by Strad Magazine as “…one of the best Portuguese violinists of his generation”. He performed as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster in important halls in Great Britain, Kazakhstan, China, Japan, Portugal, the Netherlands, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany.

Nuno Meira began his violin studies with Professor Carlos Carneiro and continued with Professor Vítor Diamantino at the Sociedade Martins Sarmento. In 1995, he joined the Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave (ARTAVE) in the class of Professor António Soares. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Violin at the Royal College of Music (London) under the guidance of Professor Ani Schnarch. In 2005, he was awarded a scholarship by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to pursue a Postgraduate degree at the Royal College of Music with Professor Ani Schnarch. In 2015, he completed a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences, specializing in Music, at the Portuguese Catholic University.

In 2005 Emilia graduated with honours from the Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she studied at the viola class under Dominik Rutkowski. She collaborated as both soloist and member of chamber orchestras with renowned artists such as: Vasko Vassilev, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Bartosz Bryła, Kevin Kenner.
