Emanuel Salvador



Emanuel has been described by Strad Magazine

as “ of the best Portuguese violinists of his generation”. He performed as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster in important halls in Great Britain, Kazakhstan, China, Japan, Portugal, the Netherlands, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany. He is the winner of various competitions, such as: Isolde Menges (RCM), Beckenham Festival, Barbirolli Memorial, Wolfson Foundation, Jovens Musicos, and Julio Cardona. In 2005 he graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music in London. As a soloist and concertmaster, he has performed with such orchestras as: Orquesta Nacional de Espana, Brasil National Orchestra, Seoul Classical Players, Adana Philharmonic, Monterrey Symphony Orchestra, Krasnoyarsk Symphony, Rotterdam Ensemble, Orquestra do Norte, Classica da Madeira.

He is the leader

of Guimarães String Quartet in Portugal, with whom he regularly performs in Europe and Asia. From 2005 to 2015, he was the concertmaster of Orquestra do Norte in Portugal. Emanuel, has to his credit a number of highly acclaimed solo and chamber recording credits for Odradek, Metier Records, RDP, NDR, TVP and for the Chinese TV. Emanuel led masterclasses around the world from South Korea, Greece, Spain, Poland and Mexico. Emanuel has played prestigious concert tours in Southeast Asia, China, Japan and the United States as a soloist. Since 2016, he has been the first concertmaster of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra and leads a violin class at the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
