Vasko Vassilev

Bulgarian violinist and conductor.
Since 1993, he has been the first concertmaster at the Royal Opera House in London. Vassilev showed incredible talent from an early age and quickly established himself as a sought-after soloist and concertmaster. He is a top prizewinner of the Paganini and Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud competitions. Vasko graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
He is the founder and artistic director
of the Soloists of Covent Garden, the London Chamber Orchestra, composed of musical stars themselves. Since 2016, she has also been artistic director of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra. He has collaborated with such artists as: Plácido Domingo, Sting, Rolling Stones or Vanessa Mae.
